Ball valves, GB/ t21465-2008 in the valve terminology, are defined as: valves with opening and closing parts (spheres) driven by the stem and rotating around the shaft of the stem. It is mainly used for cutting off or connecting the medium in the pipeline, and it can also be used for regulating and controlling the fluid. Among them, the hard sealing v-shaped ball valve has a strong shear force between its v-shaped ball core and the metal seat welded with hard alloy. The multi-pass ball valve can not only flexibly control the confluence, shunt and flow switch of the media in the pipeline, but also close one channel to connect the other two channels. Such valves shall normally be installed horizontally in the pipe. Operating principle ball valve has the action of rotating 90 degrees, the plug body is a sphere, with circular through hole or channel through its axis. Ball valves are mainly used to cut off, distribute and change the flow direction of the medium in the pipeline. They can be closed tightly with only 90 degrees of rotation and small rotating torque. Ball valves are best suited for switching and shutoff valves, but recent developments have designed ball valves for throttling and controlling flow, such as v-type ball valves.
